eudaemonism :   a theory that the highest ethical goal is happiness and personal well-being

About Eudae

All beings deserve to be happy.  Eudaemonism is an ethical system that defines virtuous actions as those that lead to happiness and well-being.  In doing so, we create a happier world.  Eudaemonism is not hedonism.  Hedonism leads to short term pleasure which tends to lead to more misery.  Eudaemonism is after long-term, sustainable happiness.  And not just for yourself, but for the greatest number of beings.  This site is my forum for testing a eudaemonist perspective through practicing techniques borrowed from Buddhism. The point is to question and test everything for ourselves.  If it works – it will make us happy.
